August Elk of the Month — Irma Wilson
I have seen
her working in the office, decorating
tables, and working in
the kitchen. This is where she
has been seen. I’m certain she
has done many other things
where I haven’t seen her.

Dan is always willing to step up to the
plate when cooking is needed. He makes a
damn good chicken and polenta also. |

Tony cooks on many Wednesday nights,
volunteers for Bingo, and is always helping. |

2007-2008
Officer of the Year — Tim Yeager
The PER association is pleased to
announce Tim Jaeger our 2007-2008
Exalted Ruler has been named Officer
of the Year. Tim led our Officer Corps
to another District championship in the
ritual contest, and continued to build
strong ties among the various committees
of the Lodge. Tim’s leadership role
in our Lodge budgeting process over the
past few years has put us on a very positive
long term track.
ELK Citizen of the Year — Jack King
Jack has served quietly for
many years around our Lodge. He is the
Chairman of the Bequests and Living
Trusts Committee and provides priceless
assistance in many Lodge legal matters.
Jack also serves as the Secretary of the Hall
Association, and works closely with the
rest of the Hall Association in ensuring our
Facility is well maintained. The next time
you see Jack tip your hat and thank him for
all he does for the Lodge. Our hats off to
you.
Elk of the Year – Ed Cerar
Ed was
everywhere helping out in so many areas, I
cannot even begin to list them all.

Volunteers who do not even wait to
be asked
Elk Student of the Year – Lizzie Jaeger
Stepped up to The Whisperings and stuck
with it in spite of a father who wouldn’t keep
his nose out of it.
